Cameroonian Microfinance Firm Renaprov Presses Ahead With BVMAC Listing Despite Raising Only 13% of Its Target

Renaprov Finance has moved one step closer to listing on the Central African Stock Exchange (BVMAC), although it raised only a fraction of the capital it initially sought. The Central African Stock Exchange said on July 21 that the microfinance institution's 52,019 newly issued shares, worth a combined CFA1.092 billion ($1.9 million), have been admitted to the Central Securities Depository (DCU) of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC).
