Camtel Could Soon Offer Amazon Cloud and AI Services in Cameroon

Cameroon Telecommunications (Camtel) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are exploring potential collaboration in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and satellite technologies, as the state-owned telecom operator seeks to expand its digital services. An AWS delegation for Africa, including Raya Nassar and Terrence Naidoo, recently met with Camtel Chief Executive Officer Judith Yah Sunday. The meeting was also attended by Antoinette Manyaga, information and communications technology representative at the U.S. Embassy in Cameroon.
